36 weeks and 6 days, decision time

Well today we went to hospital convinced little boo had tired of being breach and was now on the way to being engaged such was the amount of extreme movement last night.

But alas no, the scan proved otherwise, its currently looking at coming out legs first and so plans must be made...barring a last minute miracle next week we will be booked in for a c-section on....oops nearly said then, well we do want to keep it a little surprise if we can..

Its a disappointment, I really wanted to have a normal birth but I guess its just not to be..

I have to have a seemingly bewildering range of washes and hair washes in advance of the op to satisfy MRSA precautions, these were all fired off like a sergeant major by a very unsympathetic female doctor who might just have blown our biggest surprise of all, the sex of our child...

She made me feel worried about the baby, the way it was sitting, the fact it is a little under sized. A really unsettling experience which contrasts markedly with the lady who did our scan, a lovely woman, informative, helpful and went the extra mile by checking that all the blood was reaching the baby - it was -and telling us we probably just had a smaller baby, if some are bigger then yes some are smaller.

So its a other talking to for boo tonight, it will have more manic street preachers played to it in the hope we can get it to turn before next week.

In other news its been my last day at work today, some lovely gifts and thoughts and I thought I would be sad to leave but no...I cant wait to get home and get cleaning, nesting I think they call it. The final piece of the nursery arrived today, the black out blind and so hubby is on with that as I type..

So maternity leave starts here...my plan is to plough through Breaking Bad seeing as hubby raved about it... wonder if I will get chance.
